WOW!!
Can you believe that the wekend is over already!! It was so great to see all those could attend and know that for those who were not there, ya'll were in our thoughts and conversations! From all of the comments that were made, the whole weekend was a success! From the tailgate party with the "special dogs and bacon", Bobby T's mess of beans and Kerry's "shucked" corn on the cob, music by the fantastic Rick Hatcher, to the football game (Rider 45 WFHS 21, Rider is in the playoffs!) where the Rider spirit and prayers spread over to WFHS over the lose of one of thier own last week, and to the Friday night gathering at the Wellington. And then folks getting up early Saturday morning for coffee and breakfast, 5 brave souls (idiots?) who played golf in 41 F temp and WIND, to the 30-40 folks that toured the "new" Rider High and then met at Jason's for lunch to the final evening of food, fellowship, music, food, dancing and fun! What a time!!!
From the committee, THANK YA'LL for coming! Everyone there is what made this reunion so special in so many ways. We couldn't have done it without RIDER 78!!!
I know that there were hundreds of pictures taken, some have already been forwarded to me, and there will be a dedicated webpage for all of the pictures, comments, notes and stories that are sent to be posted. Keep checking back!
After all of the months of planning, we are still not done! We are already lookiong ahead to our 45th and 50th reunions! We will maintain a dedicated website, RIDER78.com, and of course our Facebook page so that everyone can keep in touch and share as the years roll on.
