During the planning and the 40th reunion, I heard numerous stories from our high school days and afterwards about Mac. One thing I came to understand is none of us truly know all there is to know about our classmates and Mac was a man I wished I had known better. One story that was shared occurred April 10th after the tornado changed our lives when he unselfishly helped several classmates after they had been effected. He gave unselfishly of his time and himself to bring comfort and support in a time of need. During the reunion, he came up to me and expressed his appreciation to the committee for planning and hosting the reunion which led to us catching up with each other, something that I will cherish forever.
