Richard Moore

Richard Lynn Moore of Wichita Falls passed away the morning of August 11th, after a long battle with ALS. Richard passed one day before his 57th birthday. Funeral services will be held at 10:13 a.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in Lunn’s Colonial Chapel.

Richard was born August 12, 1960 in Quanah, Texas to David and Dorothy Moore. Richard graduated from Midwestern State University and went on to work in sales as a pharmaceutical representative for GlaxoSmithKline. Through his success he earned the management title of First Line Leader. In his spare time he enjoyed sports casting at the local High School football and soccer games. Richard was also known as the coach of the boy’s soccer team, “The Slimers.”  When he wasn’t involved in sports activities, he enjoyed biking, working out, listening to music, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoying a good cigar and a glass of crown.

Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Moore, father David Moore, and step-father Charles Moore.

The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m., for visitation
